Additional pics from this past weekend where I went ATV-ing along the beach of San Luis Obispo.
Forgot how much I adore these combat boots previously worn here and here. Was a little hesitant to wear them into the sand but to my surprise it did no damage. Nothing went in and the sand on the surface shook right off. Making a pact to wear them as often as possible.

These shades will be a regular on here so get use to it :)

Anyone else notice Blogger has gotten more advanced with their image features? Anything making life a bit easier is a thumbs up for me.

Took a trip down to San Luis Obispo for some r&r with the girls this weekend. We toured Hearst Castle, bulit by William Hearst of the reknowned Hearst publishing house. The pool indoor was filled with exquisite gold plated interiors while the outdoor pool made you feel as if you were swimming with the Greek gods. It was a real treat for the eyes. I have not come across something so captivating in a while. In a fantasy world, this would be my weekend escape.

Ain't No Wifey

Shades: Grey Ant, Ring: LuShae Jewelry, Necklace reborn as bracelet

This is what I wore to Chictopia's Shop Social event tuesday night. I came across clothing label DimePiece and picked up a few very cool items. They have some kick ass shirts including one reading "One Pussy You Can't Mess With." Too obscene to say, but I'm going to say it anyway. Excuse my dirty mouth if you will.
Go here for the full scoop of the event!

My bracelet was constructed from a necklace I broke awhile back being my clumsy self. I managed to add a hook to one of the ends and I'm am totally infatuated with it now. It's a pretty amazing transformation. Also would like to thank LuShae Jewelry for sending me this ring. I love it! The perfect compliment to this bracelet.

I've been a very bad blogger, I know! But I'm back and ready for action. If you may recall in early April, I gave you a peek at a photo shoot I did here. I had the privilege to work with my good friend and amazing photographer Tony. Publishing took awhile as images were sent back and forth for approval and our opposite schedules didn't help either. I was one tough cookie, had a vision all on my own and had to perfect it the best way I could. Tony obliged in that he did not intercept in my ideas in any way. The images turned out real well and I could not be happier! I can be such a pain in the arse. Eager to work with him again, that is if he'll have it. Hope you guys like it!

By the way, bubbles and giant lollipops are messy props to work with, but look great in pictures.

Coachella Rama

No, I didn't go, (shoot me now!) but oh do I regret it. Every year I vow to attend Coachella, only to end up as a no show. It is only the biggest and bestest music festival of the year! Fusing all that we love--music, art, sun and who can forget? An endless source of style inspiration. Recognize any familiar faces? I adore Kate Hudson, but it's all about her counterpart here! I can't believe I missed out on this AGAIN!!!
 Envious of all who went.

With not one photographer avaliable, when I say photographer, it consists of anyone I could get my hands on. I tested my canon powershot with a 10 second, 3 shot timer. The first image ended up as my favorite and was shot on accident. Funny how things turn out with little or no effort at all.

I could roll around in this romper all day and not one wrinkle. This by the way may look and drape to be silk, but is 100% polyester.
The wonderful world of synthetics. Bad for the environment.Good for the budget.

Saturday was overwhelming for me, but in a great way.Visited the Nasa Ames Research Center in Mountain View to dance and spaz my ass off to watch N.E.R.D perform, and was lucky enough to chat with P for a quick minute. (yummy)
There was so much diversity especially when it came to style which is one of the things I love about music festivals. Thought I share some of my favorites.
Hit up a few clubs at the end of the day and caught up with good friends.

It's always a perfect day with N.E.R.D
Life is sweet. Yes indeed.

The sun calls for a long dress with an amazing drape. Hard to believe this little beauty cost me just $12.95!! Yes! That's retail price, not clearance. It was really cool seeing the same dress on Karen from wheredidugetthat the other day. She's very innovative, so if you don't know her, get familiar. Gets me all smiley too seeing others wear the same item but in a different and inspiring way.

On another note, I was ecstatic to finally receive my Grey Ant Status Sunglasses in the mail today. After months of drooling and pondering over such an item, I gave in and purchased them. Let me to tell you, I was a bit nervous because I have never tried it on. Luck was on my side this time (Thanks luck!) as it turned out far better than I hoped.

Boy did these take a chunk out of my bank account. Looks like I'll be starving for a week or so, but damn I love them.
