Quick nighttime snaps at Kezar stadium. The sun had just gone down to my disappointment.

Blog pics had to wait because the boyfriend wanted to catch happy hour. Can't say no to $5 mojitos and dollar oysters. We must have slurped up a dozen each. Shellfish overload? Oh yeah, for sure.

This knit you've seen numerous times(visual reference here and here) For three seasons now, its proven to be a great layering piece or by its neutral self. I always feel a sense of fulfillment when I repeat my pieces

which is to say I got my moneys worth.

Down the Street

A well crafted sweater is always appreciated and this one definitely gets my stamp of approval. Lightweight, gauze like with an open cable knit and the perfect bit of transparency. Summer necessity. I'm also here wearing the lipstick and heels I talked about a couple posts back.

This palm tree sits down the block from my place and every time I pass by it, I can't help to think it doesn't belong in a residential area. So random. A good portion of my weekends are spent in solitude around my neighborhood. Whether it's running along the beach, reading on a park bench or picking up coffee, the downtime is quite satisfying. Must be the community--super active(hot surfers), nice views(again hot surfers j/k!) and everyone always in good spirits, it's highly contagious. You can't help but want to be around that. I'm very fortunate to live where I do.

Illamasqua Alter Ego lipstick in Over

  

For a girl who's always been committed to Burts Bee's lip balm, picking a bright lip color is a huge step.

   I wanted something to make my lips pop a bit this Spring but nothing too over powering. I'm currently adoring this coral shade from Illamasqua in Over. Appears matte and slightly glossy through the day without leaving behind chalky dry residue some lipsticks are infamously known for. I''ll try to post pics of it on soon.
