From the moment I laid eyes on Phillip Lim's Spring collection, I was completely floored. Inspired by the movement of kites, he represents it beautifully through side slits and back drapings. I knew I had to somehow adopt/mimic the pairings of soft lilacs and sorbet oranges into my wardrobe. Keep on scrolling for my fave jaw dropping looks from the collection. 

Sophisticated youth as he would call it. Ahh just so good. Too good.

Back from a way too short trip to Disneyland with the bestest of friends. I always forget how much fun we have when we get together. The 2 days were filled with memorable quotes lasting a lifetime, inappropriate behavior, endless laughter--the kind that make your face muscles go sore and the freedom to be obnoxious on so many levels.

It felt nice to be a kid again, if only for a weekend.

Wearing this sweater in what felt like the high 80s was a bad move today. Though I am thankful for the cutout sleeves acting as airholes. The breeze passing by was a nice cool down moment. Could you just imagine the tan lines on this? tragic. 

I'm flying to Disneyland tomorrow night for the weekend!  It's been probably over a decade since my last visit. Real excited! I'm such a kid at heart.

I haven't been receptive towards colorful floral prints as I've been in seasons past, but this graphic top is a good update from everything seen in the market. Reminds me of a vintage photograph straight out of the dark room. Thumbs up to H&M. Always on point with their trend label. Already, I'm planning it with neon yellow shorts next time around. The gradient effect will either be interesting or prove to be an ombre overload.

I'm completely aware these pants appear comparable to skin as I've gotten a few strange onlookers who realize up close I'm in fact not pantless!! I love them nonetheless and am currently into neutrals, especially in this heat, it's all I want to wear. I can go on and on about how relaxed these skinnies feel despite the tight fit. From Mango, a frequent destination for me this season. When you go into a store and you're greeted by your first name, that's when you know you have a problem. Oye.

Just like a huge pimple, there's no escaping the scab on my lower lip. The result of my surfboard smacking me right in my mouth my last day in Hawaii. Amateur surfing at its best. It's taking forever to heal and I'm convinced it's because I'm constantly smiling!
Aside from my lip paranoia, T-straps have been my latest obsession. Had my eye on these for awhile so I finally caved the other day. The double ankle cuffs sealed the deal. Probably the shortest heels I own. Still gives me a 2 inch boost in height without straining my back and foot arch after an 8 hour work day. Final sale and no regrets thus far. Happy go lucky.
